Filep Motwary is a Cyprus-born fashion critic, curator, photographer and filmmaker whose work bridges the worlds of fashion, art and culture. As Editor-at-Large for Vogue Greece, he is widely recognised for his insightful interviews, sharp cultural commentary and long-standing support of emerging designers and creatives across Europe.

Over the course of his career, Motwary has conducted hundreds of interviews with leading figures in fashion and the arts, while also curating internationally recognised exhibitions such as Haute-à-Porter at Modemuseum Hasselt and SYNERGY: Art into Fashion at the A.G. Leventis Gallery in Nicosia. His books, including Theorem[a]: The Body, Emotion + Politics in Fashion, explore the relationship between fashion, identity and cultural expression through conversations with some of the industry’s most influential voices.

Beyond publishing and curating, Motwary directs short films, designs costumes for theatre and film, and lectures at institutions such as Polimoda in Florence. Through his multidisciplinary work and mentorship, he continues to champion the dialogue between fashion, art and contemporary culture while inspiring the next generation of creative talent.

He is the author and director of #CraftingCyprus, a short film series he created on commission for the Cyprus Handicraft Service, the PIO, and the Cyprus Ministry of Culture.
